Singles Hitting a Dating Six

Well if you weren’t there on Thursday at the WACA you missed a 1 of a kind event. The guys, the girls, the cricket and the heat, yes the heat and I don’t just mean between bodies! It was 38 deg and the fun started with meeting your ‘partner’ at 5.30pm. By that I mean finding your perfect match a la ‘Popeye” and ‘Olive Oil’. It was a great way to start the night of fun off and certainly got people talking. With a few hundred participants and much anticipation as to how many can I meet tonight, the evening was off to a great start.

Sean Grobelaar from Get Hitched in Sydney was here to preside over proceedings, ably assisted by Joanne from Social Spice, Christine and Jan from SHI Symbol - the Universal ‘meeting people’ tool company, Aleysha from the 96fm Radio Station Breakfast Crew and a wonderful crowd of enthusiastic Singles, eager to meet their match in more ways than one.

Speed dating kicked off when the Twenty20 Cricket commenced. Guys and girls took their places – boy/girl/boy/girl etc and every time a 6 or 4 or catch happened on-field, off field there was a move afoot too with guys moving seats. And so the night progressed. A LOT of fun was had by all.

Nearly forgot the loads of prizes provided by  96fm, Social Spice and SHI Symbol.
